If a countryside wedding is your dream setting, then you’ve come to the right place. Situated in Exmoor National Park, Croydon Hall is the perfect location for rural weddings, away from the hustle and bustle of urban life. With lavish spaces that can accommodate 50 – 170 guests, we can host a truly memorable day for you and your guests.
Accommodation includes stunning Bridal and Honeymoon suites, as well as 13 additional en suite bedrooms. Winter wedding ceremonies could take place in the Drawing Room or the Barn and summer ceremonies outside in the beautifully landscaped Italian garden or on the terrace.
Imagine taking over the entire Croydon Hall estate, complete with five acres of beautiful Somerset countryside and all its facilities for your wedding weekend! A lot more affordable than it sounds.
You are very welcome to hire part of the hotel if your numbers are smaller, just tell us how many guests you’d like to invite, and we’ll match the space to your requirements.
Creating bespoke packages is our forte, but it can be helpful to have a starting point, so here is an example wedding package.
It can be adapted, and numbers can be added to create a bespoke experience, but let’s use this as a starting point for our discussions. This package is based on a minimum of 50 adult guests, the number required for exclusive hire, and is subject to all 15 bedrooms being booked by you or your guests for the night of your wedding.

Additional guests, canapés and an evening buffet can be added for an agreed cost per head (up to a maximum of 170).
You’ll have a dedicated event planner leading up to your wedding and a Master of Ceremonies on the day to ensure that everything runs without a hitch.

Prices were amended on 02.06.23. There are a few changes to the package above, but if you have enquired or booked your wedding before this date, we will provide you with everything in that package at the price quoted.
Whatever the weather, we have beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces available for your ceremony. If it’s wet and cold, whatever the season, we can use the Drawing Room or the Barn and on sunny, warm days, we can hold the ceremony outside, in the beautifully landscaped Italian garden or on the terrace.
Quick price guide – Civil Ceremonies cost between £440 – £620, depending on the day of the week and include two registrars and a copy of your marriage certificate.
